The House Of The Dead: Remake will be available on PS5 later this week on January 20, 2023, it’s been revealed.
Publisher Forever Entertainment released a new trailer for its upcoming PS5 release, while also announcing the news on the game’s Twitter page.
And happy news for those who already own the PS4 version of the game, because the new PS5 version will be available to all current owners as a free upgrade.
Even if you’ve not yet picked up a copy, it’s been made half price until this Thursday, if you want to give this arcade rail-shooter a whirl on your DualSense.
Although, speaking of the DualSense and other PS5 specific features, the studio’s only note on what to expect in this new version seems to be “Game graphics and performance adjusted to PlayStation 5.”
It’s not much, but maybe it means we can at least expect a solid 60FPS for this version. The look of the trailer also seems to suggest that it’s been given a bump in resolution, hopefully to 4K, though nothing was confirmed by developer MegaPixel Studio.

You can check out the new trailer for yourself, here.
And if you want to have as much of the arcade experience as you can, then you can pull out the old PlayStation Move controllers, for that added bit of nostalgia.
Although, it’s likely that any old arcade machine for The House Of The Dead probably works better than using the PlayStation Move controllers in 2023.
