The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution for PlayStation VR announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS Viewing Revolution for the PlayStation VR and will be a launch title for the headset in Japan, releasing on October 13, 2016.

As the name suggests, Cinderella Girls VR is more like a virtual reality movie than a game and simulates the sights and sounds of being in a concert put on by the nine Cinderella Girl idols at Maihama Amphitheater, a real-life venue in Tokyo where the voice actresses performed their 1st Live concert. You can use the PlayStation Move wand controller to wave your glowstick like everyone in the audience!

Cinderella Girls began as a mobile game spin-off of Bandai Namco’s popular idol simulation game series THE iDOLM@STER, but featured new characters from the main line entries. An anime adaptation spanning two seasons in 2015 was produced by the studio A-1 Pictures (Erased, Sword Art Online, Anohana, Fairy Tail, Your Lie in April) and is legally streaming on Daisuki.

No word yet on pricing or if it will release outside of Japan, but it probably will be available to purchase and download off of the Japanese PlayStation Store. Now if western fans could get a proper THE iDOLM@STER game released…
