At the PlayStation Tokyo Game Show 2017 press conference, Bandai Namco announced The Idolmaster: Stella Stage, a new PlayStation 4 game in its popular anime idol franchise. This new entry in the idol-raising simulator series will launch on December 21 in Japan – just in time for Christmas and New Year’s!
Stella Stage appears to focus on the classic set of Idolmaster idols, the girls of 765 Productions (sorry Cinderella Girls and Million Live fans). The launch price will be 8,200 yen for the standard version and 12,980 yen for a special limited edition. Various digital bonuses will be available for physical and digital pre-orders.
The limited edition includes:
– Music Magazine: “We♪” 765 Production Special Issue
– Drama CD: “Urikome! Idol Appeal Taisakusen!”
– 765 Production 12-Month Calendar
– 765 Production Company Badge
– 765 Production Neck Strap
– Exclusive original color costume, “Another Clover” download code
– Exclusive PS4 custom theme
– A copy of The Idolmaster: Stella Stage game
– All in a box featuring the 13 main 765 Production idols
Bandai Namco will broadcast an online livestream named “Stella Channel” today at 10PM Japan time.
There’s no word yet on if The Idolmaster: Stella Stage will release in the West. Previously, The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution for PlayStation VR and The Idolmaster Shiny Festa for iOS were released in North America and Europe.
