Deep Silver has staple-gunned a European release date to The King of Fighters XIV, confirming the fighting sequel will launch on August 26.
The PlayStation 4-exclusive title will see both a physical and digital release in Europe, with pre-orders soon available to snap up. This includes the Day-One Edition, which offers a Steelbook and KYO Kusanagi DLC costume.

The King of Fighters franchise originally debuted some 22 years ago with the launch of The King of Fighters ’94 in arcades. In addition to the long-running video game series, the brand has spawned numerous multimedia releases, such as a manga, short animation series, live-action film and CD soundtracks.
