SNK has announced that The King of Fighter XV Season 2 is set to kick off on January 17 with the launch of DLC character Shingo Yabuki.
In addition to Yabuki, SNK confirmed that Kim Kaphwan will be released Spring 2023 followed by Sylvie Paula Paula and Najd in Summer 2023. Finally, two further as-yet unannounced DLC characters will be released in Fall 2023.
Beyond the new fighters that will be joining The King of Fighters XV, SNK will be releasing character balancing and a DJ Station on January 17, with the Cross-Play Open Beta test launching in Spring 2023. The DJ Station includes staff rolls from 15 The King of Fighters titles, with more songs due later down the line.
The King of Fighters XV was released for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in February 2022. You can read our full review here.
