Returning from the first game, The Last of Us Part 2 allows you to hold more weapons by finding weapon holsters in the world. These weapon holsters give you an extra slot in your inventory menu, allowing you to quickly switch between weapons without having to reassign them. We have collected the weapon holster locations in The Last of Us Part 2 to ensure you are equipped for combat.

The Last of Us Part 2 Weapon Holster Locations

The Last of Us Part 2 does not give exact names to every single chapter of the game. So, we have named them for you based on the contents of each one and what happens in them.

Be careful of spoilers in this and all our guides as we might discuss parts of the game Naughty Dog haven’t talked about or sections that contain some story spoilers. Therefore, you should take each chapter one at a time as and when you come to it.

Seattle Day 1

Chapter 9 – Downtown Seattle

Long Gun Holster

Downtown Seattle is the biggest section of the game and there are a lot of areas to visit. The Long Gun Holster can be found in the Barko’s Pet Store, but you will need to find a key first. In order to do that, you will want to go to the northernmost block between 5th and 6th Avenue. Break the window of the Ruston Coffee Shop and head into the back room. Open the next door and continue into the bathroom to find the key to Barko’s resting on the baby changer.

Now you will want to head to Barko’s, which can be found between Marion Street and Madison Street, along 6th Avenue. Head behind the shop to find a door which you can use the key on. Continue into the backroom to find the holster sitting on the desk, next to the cash register.

Seattle Day 2

Chapter 16 – Hillcrest

Short Gun Holster

This holster is found midway through the level when Ellie comes out to the street filled with enemies. There are multiple shops here. Once all the enemies are dead, head into the second shop on the right, the Pet Boutique. Head into the shop and go into the bar/seating area to the left. Continue into the kitchen and immediately look at the wall on your left to find an Artifact with the code ’30-82-65′.

Now, head back outside and go behind the Velvet Tattoo shop. Move the dumpster from the backroom here and kill the infected inside the room. To the right of the door, you can find the safe inside this room. Open the safe with the code ’30-82-65′ to find the Short Gun Holster inside.

Chapter 28 – Hostile Territory

Short Gun Holster

Towards the end of the level, you will reach a large giant mural in the back of a truck. Head into the building to the right to find the Short Gun Holster just through the door at the back.

Chapter 31 – The Coast

Long Gun Holster

The long gun holster is in the first building you enter after leaving Lev and Yara. Go past the workbench into the next room and look into the office on the left. The Long Gun Holster is sitting on the table.
