A bevy of jaw-dropping screenshots have surfaced online in anticipation of Naughty Dog’s upcoming PS4 offering, The Last of Us Remastered.
Up until now, Sony has been tight-lipped in media terms regarding the port of its flagship title, neglecting to provide gamers with any semblance of what the game may look like. Early behind-the-door indications were overwhelmingly positive, and if these screenshots are anything to go by we’re all in for a massive treat.
Scheduled to launch on July 29, the revitalised edition of 2013’s megahit is set to take PS4s by storm, providing a hefty bump in resolution, richer, more concise character models and a significant frame rate boost, too. The game also features all the single-player DLC, as well as the Abandoned Territories & Reclaimed Territories multiplayer map packs.
Perfect for gamers who have yet to plunge into Joel & Ellie’s heart-wrenching story, Sony is also releasing an exclusive PS4 bundle containing the game, a DualShock 4 and of course the console itself.
