In addition, PS5 Pro support has been implemented with the addition of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaling, with a number of bug fixes also added to iron out linger issues. You can read the full details in The Sinking City 2 update 1.1.0 patch notes below.

The Sinking City 2 was released in August 2026 and you can read our full verdict here. Set in a Lovecraftian vision of 1920s America, The Sinking City 2 takes place in the infamous city of Arkham, which has been left nearly deserted thanks to a supernatural flood. Players follow occult adventurer Calvin Rafferty, who finds himself exploring the drowning city in an effort to rescue his girlfriend, Faye, who is trapped in a mysterious sleeping after a dreaming ritual goes south. Along the way, you’ll explore rotting mansions, flooded markets, and abandoned hospitals while scavenging for resources to battle Eldritch monstrosities with an arsenal of classic firearms.
