Gun Interactive has revealed that the PS5 version of Texas Chain Saw Massacre will feature a Performance and Quality Mode, which allows you to prioritise frame rate and resolution, respectively.
Speaking with MP1st, the studio didn’t reveal what PS4 owners can expect in regards to resolution and frame rate, but confirmed it will feature a single mode.
Similar to many titles released this generation, we’ll offer both performance and quality modes on the high end current gen machines, with a single mode on the last gen consoles. On the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, players will be able to choose between 60fps Performance Mode at reduced resolution, or 30fps Quality Mode at a higher resolution. On the Xbox Series S, players will use Quality Mode.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is scheduled for release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on August 18, 2023. You can check out a new trailer for the game here.
