Posted Sunday, November 14 2011 via Twitter

EA has stated that it has begun banning and stat-wiping the hundreds of player accounts who have been caught cheating, saying they have "zero tolerance" for cheaters and is "determined to punish players who play without any integrity."

According to the BF3Blog, players were able to accumulate "tens of thousands" of points in a single match by the exploitation of a glitch where players would misuse the engineer repair tool.

EA has said that it will continue to use the ban-hammer on these dishonest players as it is made aware of them, and a patch to fix the glitch is currently in the works.
