CD Projekt RED has revealed it is looking into various issues with the PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The studio is looking for fans to provide feedback as it continues to fix the most egregious issues, including game crashing on the PC version as well as low ray tracing performance on Intel GPUs. Beyond that, PS5 owners have reported that The Witcher 3’s expansions are not available in specific regions.
Players with less powerful hardware who experience performance issues might want to consider playing the game using the DirectX 11 Version. An alternative temporary solution for issues with Ray Tracing for PC players on GOG and Steam is rolling back to an earlier version of the game.
CDPR is still investigating these issues, so it’s worth checking back on the company’s forums for solutions as they are posted.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was originally released for PS4, PC and Xbox One back in May 2015, and was released for new-generation hardware and also updated for PC users earlier this month. You can read our review of The Witcher 3 PS5 here.
