Netflix has unwrapped a fresh trailer for its upcoming The Witcher: Blood Origins, a prequel story that is set around 1200 years before the exploits of Geralt.
The Witcher: Blood Origin will feature Michelle Yeoh, Sophia Brown and Laurence O’Fuarain, and is a four-part series that will air on Christmas Day.
Set in an elven world 1200 years before the time of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, The Witcher: Blood Origin will tell a tale lost to history: the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that led to the pivotal Conjunction of the Spheres, when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.
Speaking of The Witcher, Season 4 of Netflix’s main live-action series will see major changes as Henry Cavill will be replaced in his role as Geralt of Rivia by Liam Hemsworth.
