Virtual Basement has unleashed the first batch of in-game footage for the upcoming indie title The Wrestling Code. The footage features former WWE star Enzo Amore cutting a promo in the ring, which should please long-time wrestling aficionados.
Check it out below. To be fair, while the game is still in production and this is early footage, it’s looking pretty decent.
In case you missed it, The Wrestling Code is currently in development for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S at Virtual Basement, and takes the form of an Independent Professional Wrestling title. There’s no release date yet, but we do know that the game has signed the likes of Rob Van Dam, EC3, Elijah Burke, Cryme Tyme, Lio Rush, Matt Sydal, PJ Black, Petey Williams Brian Cage.

The Wrestling Code will include a diverse range of match types, including Gauntlet, Special Referee, Slobber Knocker, Lumberjack, First Blood, I Quit and Inferno among others.
