Thick As Thieves is a new game coming from OtherSide Entertainment, a studio by Warren Spector, the man who led development on the original Deux Ex, Greg LoPiccolo and Paul Neurath who both worked on the original Thief game. Each of them certified stealth-game legends.
Announced during The Game Awards 2024, as the title suggests you’ll be stepping into the role of a thief, though not in a single-player environment. This is a multiplayer stealth-action game with an emphasis on immersion with its first-person view.
Of course with it being a multiplayer game, your life as a thief won’t be simple. You’ll be facing off against other players, each of you with the same thieving goal, meaning you’re not only dealing with the security guards protecting the prized object you have your sights set on, you’ll be dealing with other thieves.
It’s a bit of a fantasy world as well, since it’s described as an alternate world where magic and technology align. We don’t know when it’ll be arriving save for a 2026 release window, but we do know that it’ll be heading to PS5, and that fans of stealth games should keep an eye on this one.
