THQ says Saints Row 4 will have ‘broader appeal’

Saints Row 4 hasn’t even been announced yet, but that hasn’t stopped THQ’s Danny Bilson from divulging a few juicy morsels on the upcoming sequel.

Speaking during a chinwag with Eurogamer in London this week, Bilson, who announced his departure from the company earlier this week, said the game is likely to broaden the series’ appeal even further.

“Generally I’m incredibly excited about the content in Saints Row 4,” said Bilson. “There’s a lot of new characters and new points of view in the game.”

“It expands the appeal of the game. It has all the stuff you love, plus more stuff you’ve never seen in any game. Well, we kind of do that with Saints Row, right?”

However, Bilson made it clear that Saints Row 4 won’t see the light of day anytime soon, with the executive saying THQ “probably” won’t even starting talking about it for another year or so.

Could the game see the light of day on PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720? Who knows, but we’ll keep you posted.
