Veteran videogame designer Greg Johnson has confirmed he is busy beavering away on a new game for unspecified Sony platforms.
Johnson, who has been in the business for 30 years and is perhaps best known as a designer for Toejam and Earl, confirmed that studio HumaNature has begun working on the title “directly for Sony.”
Few details are known at this point, though Johnson boasts that it’s “super innovative in the area of emotional AI and personality simulation.” Furthermore, gamers can expect the game to be “cute and filled with quirky personality.”
The project will be marketed to a broad audience in the U.S., Europe and Japan.
Aside from the aforementioned Toejam and Earl, Johnson has also been involved with the likes of Starflight, Spore, The Sims 2 and Star Control 2 over the years.
