Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis Explores The Creatures Of Egypt In New Behind-The-Scenes Video

Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog have released a new behind-the-scenes look at Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, this time shining the spotlight on the reimagined creatures that inhabit the Egyptian stages.

In the original 1996 version of Tomb Raider, Egypt came after the levels set in Greece and sees Lara facing off against panthers and mummified Atlanteans, which themselves move a lot like big cats. In this new video, we see that the mummies have bee reimagined so that the bandages are less prominent in their design, and you can see more of the skin of the creature beneath.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a full remake of Lara Croft’s first ever adventure, which launched on the PlayStation, PC, and Sega Saturn in fall 1996. The game maintains the narrative seen in the original Core-developed adventure classic, with Lara Croft travelling across the globe in search of pieces of the mythical Scion, including, Peru, Greece, and Egypt, while modernising the controls and gameplay. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis launches February 17, 2027 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
