Tomb Raider Trilogy coming to PS3

Crystal Dynamics has blown the cobwebs off an exclusive Tomb Raider compilation for PlayStation 3.

Rumblings of a Tomb Raider Trilogy first cropped up over the weekend after the pack popped up on Amazon.de. The listing put the bundle down for release on March 22, 2011 for the price of €29.99.

However, writing on Twitter, Crystal Dynamics’ global brand manager Karl Stewart confirmed that it’s the real deal: "Yes, it’s official. #TombRaider PS3 ‘Trilogy’ pack coming in the new year. Full details next week. Watch this space."

Tomb Raider Trilogy offers HD revamps of Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary on a single Blu-ray disc, as well as throwing in Miss Croft’s latest core outing, namely 2008’s Tomb Raider: Underworld.

PlayStation Network Trophies have been confirmed, with the bundle also unlocking fresh male/female avatars for use in PlayStation Home.

Stay tuned.
