What does having a full-frontal lobotomy, eating a fistful of nails, skinning your bum cheeks while sitting in a pool of vinegar and Metal Gear Solid 2 have in common? These are all things which are infinitely preferable to the vile, shambling mess that is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.
With that in mind, I’m sure that the news that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be imminently arriving on PS3 will be greeted with boundless enthusiasm as the Official PlayStation Blog has confirmed that the last-gen version of the game will arrive in both digital and retail formats this week.
In addition to being more buggy than Starship Troopers and boasting the sort of visuals that would make a PS2 vomit itself blind, the PS3 version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will also not support any sort of online multiplayer functionality, as per an earlier report.
Just as well really – I mean, why on earth would you want to inflict this sort of misery on your fellow man? See? We’re all about the good karma here at PlayStation Universe.
