TopSpin 2K25 has officially been revealed from publisher 2K, though no developer has been specified to be the team behind the TopSpin reboot.
It’s been a rumour for a little less than two years now that TopSpin was coming back, and that 2K subsidiary Hangar 13 has been working on the series return.
On Tuesday, 2K finally confirmed the reboot and timed the announcement as such to coincide with the beginning of 2024’s first Grand Slam tournament, the Australian Open.
We also got a teaser trailer, which showed off a mixture of gameplay and cinematic visuals, which you can see below.
For now, TopSpin 2K25 is listed as “coming soon,” and 2K says that if you’re looking for more information on TopSpin 2K25, like what to expect from it and a release date, then “stay tuned,” and follow the game’s socials.
Another piece of missing information worth noting is that 2K doesn’t list which platforms it’ll arrive on. Though it’s also not a stretch to presume it’ll arrive on PS5, Xbox Series consoles and PC, at least.
Wherever it lands, 2K is confident in the coming tennis game, calling TopSpin 2K25 “the next must-play sports game from 2K that fully immerses fans into the world of tennis.”
