Trine 6: Together In Time has been delayed to March 4, 2027, Cooldown Games and Frozenbyte have announced. The game was originally set to arrive on September 17, 2026.
“Thank you to everyone who signed up for, played, and shared feedback during our recent Private Playtest,” the companies announced in a joint statement. “With your help, we now have a much clearer picture of what’s working and where Trine 6 has room to improve. We will be taking some extra time to add a whole new way to experience puzzles throughout the game, giving our heroes more ways to shine, and improving combat, camera behavior, onboarding, and online multiplayer systems.”
“We know this means waiting a little longer, but we’re confident that the extra time will let us act on what we heard and ultimately create a better adventure for longtime fans, players discovering Trine for the first time, and everyone in between.”
Trine 6 encourages players to work together to solve its brain-teasing puzzles, where coordinating actions and combining abilities of each character will win the day. Any of the playable heroes can solve the game’s vast array of conundrums, and if you want to go in alone, Trine 6 offers updated puzzles designs that accommodate solo play.
Trine 6 is now pencilled in for a March 4, 2027 release on PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
