Thanks to everyone who entered our competition to win a Mad Catz Tritton AX Pro. Unfortunately there can only be one winner, who was today chosen by a random number generator.
Incidentally, there were some great entries to the question: What’s your favourite video game soundtrack and why? We’ll be posting our favourite answers, and if we get the time or inclination to siphon through them all we may even create a top five list of our community’s favourite videogame tunes.
So, a big round of applause to our winner who goes by the forum name of LHR_Pinoy88 and wins a beautiful set of cans that have a bass so loud that they will make your bum cheeks rattle.
Here’s his answer…
"I clearly have to say that God of War’s soundtrack is by far the the most intense and heart pounding soundtrack to a video game i have ever played.. the modern bass sounds along with what may be real Greek acoustics just intensifies the situation before, during, and after the fight. Just love how before a fight the music is just there.. letting you know that something is about to happen.
Then a badass cut scene ensnares you in what’s about to be one of the most memorable fights you’ll remember in a video game to date. then after all is said and done and at the end of the gory finish the music brings you down off your deeply satisfying high you just got with the war drums and trumpets and trombones blaring through your speakers.. now let me ask.. wouldn’t hearing all that and feeling all that menacing modern alternative pseudo Greek music sound great through some AX Pro Tritton headphones? I wouldn’t know cause i dont have them but i would love to experience it!!!”
