Nightdive Studios has announced that a free update for Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will be dropping soon that implements ‘next-gen optimization’ for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S owners.
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was originally developed by Iguana Entertainment and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998, and is the follow-up to the cult classic Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. The game follows Turok as he battles a powerful alien entity from escaping from his Lightship, and shipped with a single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode. Notably, Turok 2 also took advantage o the N64’s Expansion Pak, allowing for high-resolution visuals.
Nightdive Studios remastered the game originally for PC in March 2017, and later arrived for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
