Noboru Hotta, the artist behind Rez, Lumines and Meteos, has announced that his new studio CORE8 is working on an action-adventure game based on Japanese mythology, known as Twin Souls.
Due out on PC and as-yet unconfirmed formats, Twin Souls has been in development for a while now and has been made possible by indie game incubator Game Creator Funding, which is a joint venture between Tokyu Land Corporation and Skeleton Crew Studio.
Speaking on the project, Hotta-san commented:
I am very excited to be able to launch the title Twin Souls, which I have been working on for many years, through the Game Creator Funding project. I would like to express my gratitude to many people, including Tokyu Land Corportation, Murakami-san, and Ito-san, for their support, and I would like to deliver creative works from Japan to the world from 404 Not Found in Shibuya.
