PlayStation Studios boss Asad Qizilbash has indicated that the Twisted Metal TV show will premiere at some point this year, although an official release date has yet to be announced by Sony.
Qizilbash tweeted a brief video clip of an elevator at Sony HQ, revealing at work of The Last of Us on a wall and the logo for Gran Turismo on the elevator doors. “PlayStation Productions this year in one elevator ride,” he said, obviously refereeing the upcoming TV shows based on the hit PlayStation franchise.
“You can’t see me, but my head is on fire too” he added, followed by clown and fire emojis. This is a nod to Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth, seemingly hinting that the TV show based on the car combat franchise will also drop this year.
The Twisted Metal TV show has already completed filming and will feature Anthony Mackie and Will Arnett.
