It was previously confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows would require an Internet connection to install, but it was assumed that this would also mean you wouldn’t be able to play the game unless your PS5 was hooked up to the net. Fortunately, this isn’t the case.
Set in feudal Japan, Assassin’s Creed Shadows gives players the chance to experience an open-world adventure from the perspective of two unique characters: Naoe, a shin obi from Iga Province, and Yasuke, an African samurai of historical legend. Set against the backdrop of the late Sengoku period, players will be given freedom to explore busting ports, castle towns, and peaceful shrines amidst changing seasons and fierce battles.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled for release on November 15, 2024 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
