Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced today uPlay, a new interactive online service filled with user-generated content set to launch in games by the end of the year.
The service is community based with components like uHelp, filled with user-created game help. Stuck on a level? Hop on uPlay and get fellow gamers’ advice. You’ll also have access to an online store and a community section.
The uPlay video portal site is coming soon. uPlay is set to launch in Assassin’s Creed 2, Avatar, and the new Splinter Cell game.
