Ubisoft’s Massive studio is currently working on the multiplayer component for Far Cry 3, it has emerged.
The news comes via Ubisoft’s GDC event this week, and reported by Kotaku’s Stephen Totilo on Twitter.
Swedish-based Ubisoft Massive is best known for its work on the Ground Control franchise, and contributed to last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
Far Cry 3 is pencilled in for release on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in North America on September 4, with a European launch scheduled for September 6.
