Long-delayed pirate romp Skull & Bones has been handed a new release window by Ubisoft during its latest earnings call, with the game now set to launch in Q4 2023-24. For the record, this means Skull & Bones should set sail at some point between the start of January 2024 and the end of March.
Skull & Bones has been delayed numerous times since its official unveiling back at E3 2017, with the game originally targeting a Fall 2018 launch. The game has been pushed back six times in total, and was recently pushed out of its March 2023 slot into late 2023 – early 2024. However, this latest update at least gives us a better idea of when to expect Skull & Bones to see the light of day.
Back in September it was reported that the game had lost yet another creative director, although this doesn’t seem to have impacted its plans for a release early next year.
