Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 5 has taken the lead on the UK All Format Charts following its launch last Wednesday, dethroning Activision’s commercial juggernaut Call of Duty: Black Ops in the process.
The critically acclaimed racing simulator gives Sony its third UK number one this year, following in the footsteps of Heavy Rain and God of War III.
Black Ops, meanwhile, drops to second place while Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood moves to three. Elsewhere, the physical release of Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare shambles in to the top 20 at number 14, while PSP outing Michael Jackson’s: The Experience debuts at 32.
