Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will receive free post-launch content in the form of Heroes vs. Heralds, Capcom has confirmed.
The publisher made the announcement during the New York Comic-Con (via iPlayWinner) over the weekend, where it revealed the DLC has been designed specifically to upset the game’s balance – all for fun, of course.
Players will be able to gather cards on various Marvel and Capcom characters, which augment playable fighters with various new abilities. These include powers such as invisibility, super armor, projectile invincibility, parries and more.
You can equip three cards at once, and there’s 100 of them in total, allowing for a total of 1.12 million combinations. Furthermore, Capcom also confirmed that Heroes vs. Heralds will be playable online.
Lastly, it was also revealed the Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s gargantuan Galactus boss will be playable in his own dedicated game mode, though Capcom has yet to go into any details on the matter.
