Umbrella Corps will feature two locations plucked from classic survival horror titles Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Capcom has announced.
Both the streets of Raccoon City and the Raccoon Police Department (R.P.D.) will feature in the squad-based shooter, and have been completely reimagined to accommodate the fast-paced multiplayer online battles that unfold.
Raccoon City’s streets become a warzone as you weave in and out of overturned car wrecks, rampaging zombies and raging fires, all the while battling it out with opposing forces for control of the once-bustling streets. You can also venture into the sewers to cover more ground.
Meanwhile, the R.P.D. has been touched up to reflect a makeshift camp for survivors of the T-Virus outbreak, with barriers and scaffolding erected in an attempt to quell the zombie invasion. You’ll be able to explore both the first and second floors of the iconic structure, which provides plenty of cover opportunities in battle.
In addition to the new locations, Capcom also revealed that players can fork out $14.99 for the Upgrade Pack. This rewards you with a host of extra content, such as character skins (allowing you to play as Resident Evil icons such as Albert Wesker, Barry Burton, Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy among others), weapons, patches, emotes and more.
Umbrella Corps is scheduled for release on June 23 for PS4 and PC.
