Capcom has lifted the lid on a new map for the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive squaddie shooter, Umbrella Corps.
This latest battleground takes the form of the Antarctic Base from Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, revisited here in a dilapidated state following its destruction at the hands of Chris and Claire Redfield back in December 1998.
Despite its crumbling appearance, the former Umbrella stronghold still finds itself populated by shuffling undead and other creatures, including the newly-unveiled Mutated Zombie. This fearsome foe can dish out and take a lot of punishment, and is immune to the Zombie Jammer pack.
Resident Evil aficionados should recognise a number of locations in the base, which is comprised of three floors, including the heliport where Claire and Steve Burnside encounter the mutated Alexander Ashford.
Umbrella Corps is due out on June 21, 2016 priced at $29.99. The game thrusts members of Umbrella’s special forces unit into a series of heated online firefights, spread across various locations plucked from Capcom’s venerable survival horror franchise.
