The existence of PlayStation 4–and a new project from Finnish developer Housemarque–is now all-but-confirmed, thanks to the LinkedIn profile of Ari Pulkkinen, composer behind Super Stardust HD and Dead Nation.
The profile was first spotted by Joystiq, who notes that Pulkkinen is working on the soundtrack and sound design behind an ‘unannounced PS4 game.’ Given Pulkkinen’s history with video games, it’s a totally logical conclusion – the storied composer has worked on Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, Super Stardust Delta, the Trine series, and the Angry Birds franchise.
Sony will likely reveal PS4 at the PlayStation Meeting in New York City this Wednesday, February 20. If footage of PS4 games is shown on the same evening, it stands to reason that Pulkkinen’s latest project may be among them.
