Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End developer hires new artistic talent

The developer behind Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has bagged two renowned artists to work on the hotly anticipated PS4-exclusive sequel.

First up is Glauco Longhi, who joins Nathan Drake’s latest outing as a Character Artist. His previous works can be seen on his personal Twitter account, and include highly-detailed human character models, which will no doubt prove an ideal complement to Uncharted 4’s already impressive visuals.

Also joining Naughty Dog’s action-adventure title is Jacob Norris, a highly accomplished Texture and Environmental Artist who is no stranger to the world of video games. Norris previously worked with Konami on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and also spent many years with Resistance/Ratchet & Clank developer, Insomniac Games.

Uncharted 4 was delayed to spring 2016 last month. The game has entered its final year of production, with Naughty Dog previously going on a hiring spree as development steps up a gear. While initially targeting 60fps, it is now believed the game will run at a steady 30fps/1080p.
