The LA Times is reporting that potential Uncharted film director David O. Russell has decided to pull out of helming Nathan Drake’s screen debut after allegedly failing to reach an agreement with the producers.
As such, the absence of the ‘Flirting with Disaster’ director means that the adventure flick has effectively gone back to the drawing board, with any chance of seeing the project in 2011 (at one point it was reported that Sony had hoped to churn out the movie by as early as summer next year) effectively neutralized.
