Sony Computer Entertainment has said it is currently investigating the source of a replica gun based on Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune PlayStation 3 videogame.
An online retailer is currently offering the product, advertised as ‘PS3 Uncharted Drake’s Fortune Full Metal M92 Airsoft Gun’, for approximately USD 166.88, accompanied by artwork from the adventure title.
Speaking to Gamesindustry.biz, Sony stated that the product has not been endorsed and has announced it will be taking appropriate action once the source of the item has been determined.
"The Drake’s Gun is not licensed or in any way sanctioned by SCE and one we certainly do not condone,” said the company.
"We are investigating the source of this product and will proceed with the most appropriate action.”
