Supermassive Games’ teen horror romp Until Dawn is officially heading to PS5 and PC, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced during the format holder’s latest State of Play broadcast today.
Until Dawn was originally release for the PS4 back in 2015, and follows a group of young adults who hit up a lodge at Blackwood Mountain following the mysterious disappearance of two sisters the year before. The game focuses on the relationships between these characters throughout the night, as their lives become threatened by a malevolent presence that pursues them.

Much like Supermassive Games’ more recent offerings such as The Quarry and The Dark Pictures Anthology, Until Dawn players like an interactive movie, with players presented with key choices in the narrative. It’s possible everyone to die by the time the sun comes up, and during quieter moments it’s possible to explore your surroundings to locate key items to flesh out the plot.
Until Dawn arrives on PS5 and PC in 2024, with a concrete date yet to be announced.
