Early previews for Until Dawn, the upcoming teen horror romp for PlayStation 4, have confirmed that the game will last around nine hours in length.
Not only that, but the Supermassive Games-developed chiller will contain hundreds of different endings, with Destructoid’s preview highlighting the importance of player choice throughout the adventure.
Gamers will make a variety of decisions that will affect the fate of each of the game’s eight characters as they attempt to survive a hellish night. Choices range from seemingly innocuous ones such as opting to pick up a book, to extreme measures such as choosing to shoot one of your colleagues in the head.
Destructoid goes on to note that once a character dies, they will be gone for good; there’s no option to restart, so you’ll have to live with the choices you make, good or bad.
Until Dawn is scheduled to ship for PS4 in 2015.
