Developer Supermassive Games has announced that its acclaimed teen horror title, Until Dawn, will not be updated with PlayStation 4 Pro support.
Until Dawn PS4 Pro support isn’t planned
While many of Sony’s PS4-exclusive titles are receiving PS4 Pro support—Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and The Last of Us Remastered are among the games taking advantage of the new system—Until Dawn won’t be benefiting from the added horsepower of Sony’s new machine.

Until Dawn was originally conceived for the PlayStation 3 as a PlayStation Move title, although the project later moved to PlayStation 4 as Sony shifted to a new console generation. The game became a surprise hit, picking up solid reviews and selling far beyond expectations. Despite the game’s success, Supermassive has confirmed it isn’t working on Until Dawn 2.
