UPDATE: The PlayStation Blog has revealed that the announcement was for DLC weapons for God of War: Ascension that feature co-op moves. Titled Mythological Heroes Weapons, the DLC includes the Spear of Achilles, Hammer of Odysseus, Sword of Orion, and Sword of Perseus.
ORIGINAL: Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica Studio is teasing a God of War announcement with two Instagram videos they posted.
The first video shows a tag-team of players killing off an enemy with the description "Incoming soon #GodofWar" included. A few hours later, a second video with the description "THIS IS Coming Soon #GodofWar #HeyBuddy" was posted, showing the opposite: one character killing off a tag-team of enemies.
It’s clear that this new God of War project has tag-team co-op in mind, but whether or not it will be a DLC expansion feature or a whole new game is unknown.
