UPDATE: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided confirmed by Game Informer’s May cover reveal. The official Deus Ex Twitter account announced a proper unveiling of the game for tomorrow at 12PM Eastern/9AM Pacific, teasing a possible trailer.
Square Enix yesterday started an augmented-reality game teasing a new title in the form of a three-day long Twitch video stream titled Can’t Kill Progress. Unfortunately for them, the surprise has been spoiled early through a leak from a Russian site Kanobu, revealing the new game is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Mankind Divided will be a sequel to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but interestingly enough the article from Kanobu states none of the last game’s endings are canon. The new Deus Ex will once again be developed by Eidos Montreal for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
