UPDATE: According to Sony, the PSN was down for maintenance today and should be running now, or soon.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: It appears the PlayStation Network is down in certain country/regions. Here in North America we received an error message stating the service is not available.
We’ve heard from others that they cannot connect to the PSN. Feel free to leave comments below if you are experiencing the same problems. We’ll let you know if Sony has any information for the PSN being unavailable.
