Sony has confirmed to the folks at CVG that Europe will also be receiving a price cut for PSP go. Effective as of November 1, the RRP of the handheld will be reduced from £225 GBP to £159.99 GBP.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has confirmed that the hardware manufacturer will be slashing the price of PSP go in the region this week.
Starting tomorrow, the device will be available for purchase at the reduced price of ¥16,800 ($200/£132).
In addition, Reuters reports that Sony America also plans to follow up with a price cut of its own, lowering the cost of the portable games platform from $249 USD to $199 USD.
No word yet on whether or not there are any plans in line for a European price drop, though we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
