Valve still undecided on PS3 development

Valve Corporation still hasn’t made up its mind on whether or not to pursue development on Sony’s PlayStation 3, though admits the firm will likely do something later down the line.

"Before we do anything on the PS3 we need to be able to support it in the right way,” said Valve’s Chet Faliszek, during a chinwag with the folks at EDGE magazine. "But we’ll look at it, and I’m sure down the road we’ll do it."

Valve has remained fairly critical of Sony’s black box in recent years; though last summer company bigwig Gabe Newell offered his apologies to PS3 owners over the firm’s shoddy treatment of the PS3 port of The Orange Box.
