Poncle has announced that Legacy of the Bloodmoon will arrive for Vampire Survivors on August 28, 2026, bringing with it over 10 new characters and other content.
Among the new characters include Malice Bloodmoon, Calogero Bloodmoon, Baal’Thasar, Ashtart, and Sargon. Beyond that, Legacy of the Bloodmoon also added 16 new weapons such as the Scarlet Needle, Incineration, Blacken Firmament, and FireBall, as well as the following new music tracks:

- “It’s Her Nature”
- “What He Wished For”
- “Borrowed Feathers””
- “Grasp All”
- “Lose All”
- “You Knew What He Was”
- “When You Took Him In”
Finally, the DLC includes the Red Moon Manor XL stage, which is described as the ancient lair of the Order of the Red Moon, supposedly built by Baal’Thasar as a fortress rot conceal the secret of immortality.
Back in April, Poncle revealed that it has 15 projects in the works and is planning to expand its operations by establishing new studios in both Italy and Japan. Furthermore, the success of Vampire Survivors has allowed the company to reinvest in three key areas — spinoffs, original IP, and new Survivors games based on existing franchises.
