The Chinese Room, the studio behind Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, has revealed it is ‘making adjustments’ based on user feedback regarding its decision to lock two classes behind day-one DLC.
We are listening to your feedback about the Lasombra and Toreador clan access, and we’re making adjustments ahead of launch to reflect this. We will share more information about what this means as soon as possible.

In case you missed it, the Toreador and Lasombra classes are not available in the base game, instead requiring players to purchase the Premium Edition at $89.99/£74.99. Even the Deluxe Edition of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 doesn’t include these classes, as you’ll need to add the Shadows and Silk DLC to the base game or Deluxe Edition for $21.99/£18.69.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 takes place in Seattle during the 21st century, where players take on the role of an elder vampire, whose abilities you can determine by having them join one of a number of selectable clans. Your character must feed off humans to maintain their abilities while hiding their vampiric nature, as the undead must keep up the masquerade of hiding their identity from mortals.
Paradox Interactive will publish Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on October 21, 2025.
