PEGI has posted up a rating for a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Verdun, suggesting the World War One shooter is set to make the jump to current-generation consoles.
Developed by M2H and Blackmill Games, Verdun was originally released on the PC last year, and features an authentic World War One setting complete with 32-player battles in the trenches.
While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, a Reddit thread claimed that the PS4 version of the shooter had been announced on Dutch TV ealier in the year. The PEGI listing has disappeared although a reference to the rating can be found on Twitter.
Verdun isn’t the only World War One shooter to look out for, with Electronic Arts’ Battlefield 1 scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on October 21.
