The 2012 Spike Video Game Awards are right around the corner, and to whet our appetite, event organisers have unveiled a few teasers on what we can expect this year.
As regular fans will know, the show is usually jam packed with new trailers from the year’s most anticipated games and a few announcements of new games coming soon. Indeed, this seems to be the case once again.
The first three games confirmed to be premiering new trailers at their 10th Anniversary include The Last of Us, Gears of War Judgement and South Park: The Stick of Truth.
The Last of Us was announced at the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards, blowing away gamers and critics alike. Furthermore, Game Informer has released a teaser image featuring a mysterious female character — will she help Joel and Ellie or will she be hostile?
Spikes VGA’s airs Friday December 7 at 9.00 p.m. EST, and will be hosted by Samuel L. Jackson and feature musical performances from Linkin Park and Tenacious D.
