Top 5 tips and Titan PWNING video
The word among Destiny players is that the Titan class is so over-powered it’s tough to defend against the might of a skilled player in multiplayer skirmishes. That theory is certainly one that our very own Chille agrees with as he loves nothing more than PWNING his opponents with his knock-out Storm Fist, while using his indestructible shield to keep enemies at bay.
Chille has put together this entertaining video of his Titan in action, showing you the skills needed to crush your enemies with ease. We also asked him for his top five tips that he feels will help any novice Titans succeed in the online arena. Here’s his suggestions:
1. If you’re a Defender sub-class use the ability you find more suitable for the environment. For example, during PvE I use Gift of Light, this allows me to spawn more super orbs for my team mates. But when playing PvP, I switch to Unbreakable, which makes my Disintegrate Shield constantly regenerate for a time. The same applies to your bubble. Often I use Armour of Light when capturing points, but in 3v3 skirmishes, I sometimes switch to Weapons of Light if it’s a sniper map.
2. Helm of Saint-14 is almost a necessary nowadays, which is a shame as it is an exotic. It causes a blind effect when people are in your bubble, meaning you have a huge advantage over them.
3. Pay attention to the enemies outside your bubble, even if they aren’t rushing in watch for when they reload or take cover and use this to your advantage. When reloading charge up your fusion rifle and take them out.
4. Remember that all supers can break your bubble pretty much, so stand near the edge, because their radius is only the size of the bubble. This gives you a chance to escape if need be.
5. Make sure you keep an eye on your enemies play-style and change your bubble accordingly. I always have increased duration and reduced cooldown, then switch between Blessing of Light (Keep shield bonus even if not in shield) and Armour of Light (a bonus shield when stood in it) depending on how the other team is doing.
